About My Artlab

Andjelija Djuric is an award winning set and costume designer who was introduced to working with children through a theatre outreach project in a Toronto public school. She immediately fell in love with working with kids as she got the opportunity to transfer her rich theatre design experience to them and guide them in their creative discoveries. Andjelija’s favourite parts of theatre are playing and imagining worlds and stories, poetry, music, exploring space and materials. This makes the vital part of her work with children. Andjelija’s studies and work have taken her on many unforgettable journeys. These travels and her love of outdoors are big inspirations in the programs that she runs at the studio as well as in her counting projects in theatre, dance and opera.
